Jimmy Conner Owns the Trash Decision! Sean Parks Votes for Less Service and Higher Prices

Posted by admin

In a 3-2 vote on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, the Lake County Board of County Commissioners authorized Vice-Chairman Jimmy Conner to sign the contracts for Lake County’s solid waste.  Commission Chairperson Leslie Campione and Commissioner Tim Sullivan argued for a workshop to reopen the process in light of the revelations of lower service, higher prices and a flawed process.  Commissioners Campione and Sullivan contended that too many unanswered questions persisted and both noted the large number of citizen complaints.

Commissioner Conner said he did not have any questions; the process was fair; and he was not in favor of any further review–ignoring the concerns of many citizens.  Commissioner Welton Cadwell, who made “no bones about it” regarding his hatred of the incinerator process from 25 years ago, was all “on board” for the change in vendors–despite concerns of worse service and higher pricing.

Commissioner Sean Parks was told by officials of Waste Management that citizens in his district would pay at much as 40% more for pick up service, and was banking on negotiating extra service for South Lake.  He naively believes the cost will not increase–ignoring the actual proposals.

Unlike Commissioners Conner and Cadwell, Commissioner Parks did act concerned that he was reducing service and raising costs to senior citizens in South Lake, even though he couldn’t comprehend that two day service will cost them a lot more.  In North Lake County, Commissioners Conner and Cadwell are okay that their constituents get reduced to one day service, and they will be forced to lug around huge garbage cans on dirt roads.

Commissioner Parks, who voted for a landfill disposal over the more environmentally friendly form of disposal through incineration, lost real credibility as an environmentalist.  His vote also puts a larger burden on seniors in South Lake developments who will now have to contend with huge waste disposal garbage cans called “hobos”.  Seniors will pay more for disposal; have to wrestle with huge containers; and receive less service.  With one vote, Commissioner Parks managed to alienate both environmentalists and seniors.

We have questioned the process for its fairness and nothing has changed; however, one thing is for sure–Commissioner Conner (“Jimmy”) owns this decision–he signed the deal.

  • When your trash doesn’t get picked up; call Jimmy.
  • When you pay more for disposal; call Jimmy.
  • If you are a senior and you throw-out your back while screwing around with a huge trash can; call Jimmy.
  • When you can’t fit this huge trash can in your garage; call Jimmy.
  • When your debris or large items aren’t picked up because you didn’t call; call Jimmy.
  • When a smelly trash can is sitting by your house for a week because you get only one pick up; call Jimmy.
  • When that wild animal scatters your trash all throughout your yard because the new automotive carrier will not pick up your trash bag; call Jimmy.

You can call Commissioner Conner (“Jimmy”) at 352-343-9800 or email him at jconner@lakecountyfl.gov.

See, Jimmy owns it because he was so intent on winning against Commission Chairperson Campione instead of doing what is right for the citizens of Lake County.

The reason why Commissioner Parks will probably not own it is because he will most likely be voted out a month after it starts due to the new reduced service starting in October 2014, a month before the election.  So, yes, if you want to run against Sean Parks you now have a winning issue, because by November 2014, the people in Lake County will be mad as hell at the reduced trash service.  Commissioner Conner has been trying to get rid of Commissioner Parks; unfortunately, Parks just fell into the trap.

Commissioners Campione and Sullivan argued hard for the people of Lake County; however, the other three Commissioners had agendas, which favored the corporations.

In response to the two previous letters, please be advised that I am in no way in love with the current Governor of The Great State of Florida nor ANY Governor in any state at any time in the course of history. But in reality who is going to police these corrupt local politicians ? We have to resort to the corrupt within the system at the higher level who have legislative and executive power of the corrupt at the local level. Use your head, they are ALL corrupt but who else you gunna call, Ghost Busters ?

The next in line to police the local politicians is the Lake County Sheriff. Do I need to say any more about that ? I believe that all the astute, intelligent, thinking voting individuals in the county are all very familiar with his history. The sad fact is that there are only an infinitesimal number of people in positions of power within the walls of the Forbidden City that can make a difference within the county for the taxpayers who truly want to do the right thing without all of us having to storm the courthouse with pitch forks and torches. Actually, that ultimately may be what it will take in the not too distant future to effect change here locally and elsewhere. If you know of an individual who is willing to lead the charge please let all of us know because I wish to be on the front line of that barrage.

By virtue of the fact that we are posting here is a statement for the passion within all of us for change within Lake County. We are all allies for change but perhaps with different points of perspective. The fact remains, we all have one thing in common, we know that this junk yard dog has fleas, the task at hand for The People is to rid that “beast” OF it’s fleas !

Please offer any realistic ideas out there on how we all can accomplish that goal because I for one am on board with that undertaking.

  2. You say “This is insanity. The Governor’s Office must look into the possible corruption surrounding what even to the uninitiated appears to be a case of at least quid pro quo if not outright graft.”

While you have the Governor’s Office looking into the possible corruption would you please ask the governor if he sees a problem with all those different dates of birth Bob McKee has used over the years on government documents and stuff?

Why don’t you ask him what he considers to be the maximum number of different dates of birth an elected official is allowed to have before it throws up a red flag so to speak?

I hear tell McKee has apparently only used 4-5 different dates of birth, maybe that’s not enough to cause concern yet or something.

  3. It will do no good to ask “The Governor’s Office must look into the possible corruption.”

First of all it is not “possible corruption” it is a total culture of vultures of corruption and Rick Scott is a part of the problem which means he can never be a part of the solution!

Here is just a short BIO of his history as a Dallas, Tx lawyer connected to the Bush family. It leaves out his work for them in the oil industry which is also otherwise well documented over the years.

    READ THIS:

Richard (Rick) Lynn Scott received his law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. He served in the United States Navy before starting his business career, joining the Dallas firm Johnson & Swanson, where he became partner.
Scott became friends with Richard Rainwater, a politically connected investor with ties to the Bush family. Rainwater had made a fortune investing for the wealthy, including George W. Bush. At one point Rainwater, who owned a big chunk of the Texas Rangers and brought Bush in as the team’s managing partner, brought in Scott as an investor in the team as well.
In 1987 Rainwater and Scott partnered, and with the initial purchase of two hospitals in El Paso, Texas, formed the Columbia Healthcare Corp. They took their company public and used the money to buy hospitals at a fast clip, focusing on dominating specific markets by buying several hospitals in a region and closing the poor-performing ones. They slashed costs, cutting jobs and hours, and bought bulk supplies at discount. Wall Street rewarded them. By 1994 they had enough capital to buy Scott’s original target, HCA. The combined company, rechristened Columbia/HCA, would grow to more than 340 hospitals, 135 surgery centers, 550 home health locations in 37 states and two foreign countries, making it the largest healthcare company in the world. Scott moved to HCA’s corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tenn., as CEO.
He resigned as Chief Executive of Columbia/HCA in 1997 amid a controversy over the company’s business and Medicare billing practices; the company ultimately admitted to fourteen felonies and agreed to pay the federal government over $600 million; Scott was not implicated. Scott later became a venture capitalist.

NOW DO YOU SEE HOW RICH SCOTT WALKED OFF “SCOT FREE” ON THE CHARGES OF MEDICARE FRAUD? FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES!

He was business partners with the Bush family including a partner with President George W. Bush in the Texas Rangers.

All of these little schemes and deals that seem to come out of no where and always seem to forget what should be in the nest interest of the voters and taxpayers are actually concocted by a well organized culture of corruption that don’t give a damn about the little people who have to suffer to pay the bills.

It’s a game of the haves against the have not’s and the haves are in control and have been for years now. It’s just that the average working people have been busy trying to tread water and save their life savings, their families and the pride.

The truth of the matter is the corruption is so deep in this country the real people have no place to go to complain about being robbed.

At least in the Sherwood Forest Robin Hood was able to take from the corrupt Sheriff and Tax Collector and give back to the poor.

Here in Lake County our tax collector has so many dates of birth we don’t have a clue who he really is and, our sheriff spends all his time chasing his next young male “special deputy.”
Maybe someone should report all of this “possible corruption” to the governor as well.

It would not do any good because the governor is in the sack with all the rest of them. He proved that very well thins week when he proved he was in on the set up to take out yet another honest sheriff in Liberty County Florida and replace his with another old Bush crony whose son world for the Florida Speaker of the House. All these involved in this “possible corruption” are connected at the hips. And, as long as the people continue to be too stupid to see the connections to these criminals they will continue to thrive and survive like the leeches they are.

This is insanity. The Governor’s Office must look into the possible corruption surrounding what even to the uninitiated appears to be a case of at least quid pro quo if not outright graft.

The bleeding tax payers of Lake County deserve better than this treatment !

  5. Name says:

Thank You Dr jack for the personal comment! It is a matter of fact that trash attracts trash, anyone who does not believe that need only discard something in a pile accessible to the public and watch it grow!

If the city of Tavares has an ordinance against trash at Jimmy’s house they should have long ago run the sucker out of town on a log.

As evidenced by the ownership of the Bushnell landfill – Jimmy is taking orders from the Tallahassee connected boys and pushing their agenda’s for them. Guess he has outnosed Carey Baker for the Lake County point man now.

Glad we have at least one doctor who will come forth and put Jimmy in his place when he is disrespectful to their wife.

  6. These people are not dumb as they would have you believe – they are very cunning and well organized to bring about the results ordered by their handlers.

The people who really know what’s going on also realize it is practically impossible for the average CITIZEN to understand just how deep the corruption is and just how much trouble these CRIMINALS go too to control their environment; especially their criminal empires.

They control elections and they control ALL OF THE LAME STREAM MEDIA OUTLETS. You are going to get the news they want you to have nothing more, nothing less. If you get an education about this culture of corruption it will because you get off your butt and get it yourself – it does not come easy.

To all the people commenting on this BLOG about VOTING THEM OUT are naïve and have not done their homework! The voters can not vote them out because THEY and their CRONIES control the OPTICAL VOTE SCANNERS that give them the results they pre-program them for.

As everyone can see this is a REPOST that appeared on the RSOL on August 15, 2013 – only two weeks ago today.

DID ANYONE TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT????

Let us remind everyone; in the August 26, 2008 Lake County primary elections:

CREDIBLE EYE WITNESSES SAW BOB McKEE AND WELTON CADWELL ENTER AND EXIT THE “NETWORKING ROOM” WITHOUT SIGNING IN OR OUT SEVERAL TIMES THAT NIGHT!!!!

IN 2008 IT WAS NECESSARY TO MONITOR “THE FIX” IN THE NETWORKING ROOM. “THE ADVERSARY HAD TO MONITOR THE REPORTING DATA TO INSURE THE DESIRED RESULTS.

SINCE THEN EACH OPTICAL SCANNER IS PROGRAMED WITH THE VOTE FIXER CHIPS AT THE POLLING PLACES AND REPORT THE FIXED VOTES DIRECTLY TO THE NETWORKING ROOM.

State Official admitted Florida Voting Machines Can Be Hacked
    August 15, 2013 at 4:09 pm

The Secretary of State of Florida is a constitutional officer of the state government of the U.S. state of Florida, established by the original 1838 state constitution.

Originally, the Secretary of State of Florida was elected by the people of the state in the general election. However, in 1998 constitutional reforms removed the Secretary of State from the elected Cabinet of the executive branch. That year, Katherine Harris won the last election for Secretary of State.

Today, the Secretary of State of Florida is appointed by the Governor!
Doesn’t that remind us of how he people of Lake County were horns waggled into voting to abolish our elected superintendant of schools?

The office holder of an elected office use to be considered to be accountable to the voters who elected them to that office.
Anytime they abolish and elected official position and replace that position with an appointment to that office the office becomes that of a political patronage appointee.

The following article has been reprinted on hundreds of Florida State wide blogs and publications over the last six years. While the revelations from then Florida Secretary of State Kurt Browning at the time were slowing but surly swept away with time. They have now been covered with dozens of layers of sand so deep no one in government has any recollection of this.

In short just six short years ago this summer then Florida Secretary of State Kurt Browning admitted,” an adversary could use a pre-programmed computer card to swap one candidate’s votes for another or create a “ballot-stuffing attack” that multiplies votes for a candidate or issue. Insider computer hackers can change votes without a trace on Diebold optical-scan machines.”
By the time Browning finally reversed the “unofficial policy of denial” “they” had been fixing elections in Florida for more than three years.
Remember; when “they” can fix elections and put “their” people into public office who can then appoint (anoint) their own people into positions of authority they no longer have to worry about what the taxpaying voters think or have to say about anything. Isn’t this the way most politicians act today? They had just as soon tell a constituent to go to hell as not!
Insiders say vote fixing is now down to a science. They can pop those little chips is and elect their choice without any traces.

Funny how we never did hear about how they resolved this critical issue and I don’t recall anyone “banning the use of optiscan Diebold or any other optical scanner machines in Florida.” WHAT WE HAVE FOUND IS ALL BALLOTS ARE COUNTED ON THESE OPTICAL SCANNERS IN TODAY’S ELECTIONS!!!!

But we have all seen a bunch of people elected to public office that everyone swears they did not vote for!

Florida Voting Machines Can Be Hacked
By Marc Caputo The Miami Herald
    Tuesday 31 July 2007

    READ THIS!!!!!

TALLAHASSEE – REVERSING AN UNOFFICIAL POLICY OF DENIAL, THE FLORIDA SECRETARY OF STATE’S OFFICE HAS CONDUCTED AN ELECTIONS STUDY THAT CONFIRMED TUESDAY WHAT A MAVERICK VOTING CHIEF DISCOVERED NEARLY TWO YEARS AGO: INSIDER COMPUTER HACKERS CAN CHANGE VOTES WITHOUT A TRACE ON DIEBOLD OPTICAL-SCAN MACHINES. THE STUDY BY FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY FOUND THAT, DESPITE RECENT SOFTWARE FIXES,” AN ADVERSARY COULD USE A PRE-PROGRAMMED COMPUTER CARD TO SWAP ONE CANDIDATE’S VOTES FOR ANOTHER OR CREATE A “BALLOT-STUFFING ATTACK” THAT MULTIPLIES VOTES FOR A CANDIDATE OR ISSUE.”

AND, IF YOU THINK THIS WAS AN ACCIDENT AND “THEY FIXED IT” YOU ARE NUTS!!!

A Diebold spokesman, Mark Radke, said the company is confident it will upgrade the “minor” software glitch by an Aug. 17 deadline the state has set. If it doesn’t, Secretary of State Kurt Browning said his office would eventually ban the use of optiscan Diebold machines in Florida, where 25 counties, including Monroe, use its fill-in-the-blank systems.

All other voting vendors are being examined for the same security issues, including Elections Systems & Software machines, which Miami-Dade and Broward use as well. A new state law requires that, by next year, all counties must use paper-trail style machines.

JEB BUSH PROMPTLY ISSUED AN ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER AGANST RECOUNTING PAPER BALLOTS ONCE THEY HAD BEEN MACHINE COUNTED! WE MUST ACCEPT THE MACHINE TOTALS!

The Clint Curtis / Tom Feeney / Yang Enterprises, Inc. Vote-Rigging Scandal
BRAD BLOG SPECIAL COVERAGE Brad Friedman Last Updated: 08/29/2006 02:43 PM – On December 6th, 2004, in an explosive exclusive, The BRAD BLOG published a sworn affidavit by Florida software programmer Clint Curtis. In his affidavit and videotaped sworn testimony presented before members of the U.S. House Judiciary committee, Curtis claims to have been asked by U.S. Congressman Tom Feeney (R-FL) to design a “vote-rigging software prototype”. This request took place in October 2000 during a meeting at Yang Enterprises, Inc. (YEI), a computer consulting firm in Oviedo, Florida.

Curtis, a life-long Republican up until then, had been a programmer at YEI, which had several top-secret clearance contracts with the state, NASA and other government agencies. Curtis’ understanding at the time was that the prototype he was being asked to create (built to the very precise specifications of Feeney) was to address Feeney’s concerns that the Democrats might attempt to electronically rig the election and Feeney wanted to know what to look out for in that event. After informing YEI CEO Mrs. Li-Woan Yang that he would not be able to hide the vote-flipping routines in the software source-code as Feeney had requested, Curtis testified that Mrs. Yang informed him that the program was needed to “rig the vote in South Florida “. Curtis testified before congress that he invented the chip and handed it off to Tom Feeney.
At the time of the alleged meeting, Feeney was the incoming Speaker of the Florida House, and also a registered lobbyist and the general corporate counsel for YEI. Previously, he had been the running mate of Jeb Bush during his 1994 unsuccessful first bid for Florida Governor. In November 2000, Feeney gained national notoriety after declaring open defiance of the Florida Supreme Court by vowing to choose Presidential electors for George W. Bush regardless of whether a court-ordered recount showed that Gore won Florida. He eventually ascended to the U.S. Congress and the House Judiciary Committee. Although he was outspent two to one by his Democratic opponent in 2002, Feeney beat him handily at the polls and then ran unopposed for the same seat in 2004. Now Tom Feeney is President of Associated Industries of Florida.

And; to the blogger who said “This is little Obama county Out of Control…GOD HELP US”
You might not realize just how right you are!

Go to the FREEDOM OUTPOST WEBSITE and read the article “IS OBAMA A BUSH CLONE?”
“IS OBAMA A NIXON CLONE?” A very interesting and educational article to say the least.

For you see THEY DO ALL HAVE A COMMON DENOMINATOR!

  7. LCBCC thiss includes mr Cadwell you might have made a mistake years ago going for the incinerator but this time u sure have screwed up,things were going good as far as our garbage goes and now u and Connor have really created a stink, but wait you will answer for it at the next election, maaybe not who in the hell wants to be a commissioner in Lake County This is little Obama county Out of Control…GOD HELP US

  8. Jack,

Your idea stinks, “I like it”. Please also put up one of the those signs that say if you will vote for Jimmy Conner again take your medical business to the Psychiatrist down the street.

  9. All Lake County residents are encouraged to drop their excess garbage off every week on the lawns of the commissioners who voted on the reduction of trash services. This is an independent comment that in no way reflects the opinion of my wife.

  10. I think this entire bunch with possibly the exception of Campione (and she needs to tell the truth about who is pulling their strings or she needs to be included) including Minkoff, Heath and Neil Kelly need one more TERM – 20 to life for all these years of RICO ACTS sounds about right.

The State Attorney just let Orange mayor and BCC off with $500. fines for deleting their text messages. Of the same happened in the FIFTH CIRCUS Brad King would find nothing wrong!

That sucker needs about 20 to life as well. all the innocent people he has refused to bring closure for and all the criminals he has refused to prosecute. Especially the sex offenders. Brad King just can’t see anything wrong with sex offenders!

  11. I am neither an environmentalist or a senior and think Parks needs to go.

  12. All this stinks to high heaven. It reminds me of a mutiny on one of those old ships of long ago.
Especially the part about where three commissioners hijacked the contract signing and passed that on to Jimmy Conner. Somebody needs to follow the money on this deal
All of this makes you wonder if maybe they have anointed Jimmy Conner the new godfather to take Bob McKee’s place in deal making? McKee has been laying low since all those dates of birth he uses surfaced.
If Conner is the new godfather don’t worry he does not really dislike Sean Parks they are really two peas in a pod and don’t anyone forget it. Parks is bought and paid for by the courthouse mafia and if Conner is the new godfather along with that title comes those funky little voting machine fixer chips.
Anyone who wants too can run against Sean Parks or anyone else around here all they want too but, the ones that get elected are the ones selected by those little chips the godfather totes.
The fact is these criminals are so brazen the rob from us right in broad daylight and like a convenience store robber they are even on video and they don’t even have to cover their faces because they know damn well even if everyone figures it out there is nothing anyone around here can do about it.
